All parts are purchased on the understanding that the purchaser is competent to fit them & it is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that all parts are fitted correctly & suitable for the usage they are to be put to. Furore Cars/ Mr RJ Bost will not be held responsible for the outcome of parts being fitted incorrectly, or used for unsuitable applications – the car is designed for use on the Public road & no warranties for it’s use for trackdays, racing, rallying or any form of motorsport are given or implied. In addition to the above you will require a Toyota MR2 Mk1 as a donor, a Fiat Cinquecento/Seicento steering rack & lower steering column & some alloy sheet to skin the floor & inner cockpit. With the parts listed above this will get you to a rolling chassis stage. If you want to fit a bike engine, we have currently jigged an engine cradle (available at additional cost) for the Kawasaki ZX10/ZZR1100 & a conversion (also additional cost), for the Toyota diff which comes “free” with your donor vehicle, to chain drive, this includes an electric reverse assembly if required using the Toyota starter motor. The chassis will, I believe, accommodate most bike engines, just contact me to discuss your requirements. Bodywork – Available in white gelcoat as standard, for an extra £120 can be produced in any “straight”, i.e. non-metallic

 These are the smallest traditional style "E" marked headlights available (to the best of my knowledge) The headlamp pattern is described as flat & I was told by my SVA tester on 22/12/08 that a flat beam is completely legal in the UK, apparently it is the British/American beam pattern, however, most Mot (& SVA) testers expect to see a “kickup” to the left. If you look at the beam closely, it is in fact a shallow angle “V” which if you rotate the lamp by 15 degrees gives the required “kickup” for the standard UK beam pattern. Hence, remove the lens & file a new slot about 12-13mm to the right (when viewed from the front) to locate the lens. This is exactly how my Furore was presented for SVA test on 22/12/08 & the lights passed without any query whatsoever. The lenses are just over 90mm & they measure approx 105mm across the diameter of the casing. They have mounts on each side so can be mounted within a "U" or "C" bracket or on the end of a post. I have suitable mounting brackets in stock see below for prices. Not only do they keep wind resistance down due to their small size, they are also very lightweight too. The units come complete with dip/main halogen bulbs & built in sidelight.  These carbon effect mirrors with LED side repeaters built in are very cool, I would suggest using them in addition to any existing side repeaters, but anything which helps people to see where you're going can be no bad thing. They are very light & have a sturdy mounting stem with the wiring carried inside, an excellent addition to any kitcar. Bright amber LED's, just connect up to your existing indicator wiring.  These "F1 Style" carbon effect mirrors are superb. Lightweight & low drag, ideal for a Furore & many other vehicles too.  I carry a full range of Acewell digital speedos/dashes, I use these on the Furore & have found both the quality & ease of fitting/calibrating the units to be excellent.I stock all the current units from the new bargain basement 258 @ £85 & the new 2859W thro' the 1100, 1500, 1600 & the various 3XXX units with or without warning light surrounds. I also carry spares & can usually order in anything not in stock within a few days.  We offer a brake pipe manufacturing service. These are stainless steel braided flexy hoses, pvc coated, with stainless steel swaged ends, ABSOLUTELY TOP QUALITY perfect for IVA. Banjo ends are available in 6 colours black, purple, blue, green, gold & red + obviously plain stainless steel, the colours are electrophoretically applied hence are not easily scratched & will not fade in sunlight, the coloured banjos can only be supplied straight as bending can damage the coating. All other ends/fittings are in plain stainless. The hoses are available in 19 colours, plain, green, silver, blue, carbonfibre look, dark purple, black, orange, yellow, neon blue, light purple, red, white, pink, translucent red, green & yellow. Most hose colours are available from stock, all commonly found end fittings are available from stock, most coloured banjos are from stock, some to special order. Most hoses can be supplied for around £14.95 - £17.90 + P & P of £3.95, the coloured banjos add £2.50 per hose. Colour code your hoses to your vehicle for no more than the cost of a standard hose, & these are absolutely top quality, unlike some available with aluminium or mild steel end fittings which will either create an electrolytic reaction or will corrode. | Brackets & bushes. I have all sorts of laser cut bracketry available from stock & can also offer a cutting service for short runs from your own drawings in Stainless Steel, Mild Steel & Aluminium. Bush kits comprising 16 top hat bushes, 8 crush tubes, & 8 outer tubes suitable for suspension pivot bushes for 10mm bolt mounting £38 plus P & P Brackets for the above bushes £2.25ea in 3mm mild steel, these have 3mm each side of the bush to allow for caster adjustment & holes in the base of the bracket to allow for bolted fitment if required. |
