Here you see the car at a very early stage. The second seating position can be clearly seen in these pics.

The chassis & suspension was originally a Formula Ford 2000, hence the slicks in the picture.

The Formula Ford was much too short so it was cut in half & lengthened by .75m. The front & rear wings also came from the Formula Ford 2000 car (a Hawke DL19B) though they have now been extensively modified & extended.

The chassis was also far too narrow, but soon sprouted sidepods & a new nose extension.
The finished Furore is substantially quicker than any Formula Ford, even FF 2000 had nothing like this power to weight ratio. The twin Kawasaki engines not only provide more than double the power of the Ford Pinto engine originally fitted they weigh substantially less than the combined Ford engine & transaxle, although the Formula 3 slicks used may have provided a little more grip!
When you look at the finished Furore you would never conceive of it's origins.

Make any reasonable comments you want - both good or bad in my Guestbook below. I endeavour to respond to all queries, but usually to the person concerned rather than within the Guestbook. When searching for your Country, you should be aware that England, Ireland, Scotland & Wales are listed separately, there is no listing for the UK as a whole.
