| |  Hi, I'm Russ Bost, living at Benfleet in Essex. I worked on this project for around 4 years & am now working on the kit version becoming available now. It’s gestation period was somewhat longer! I thought about building a Lotus 7 style kitcar, but wanted something a bit more unusual. When I first started talking about doing something like this it was going to be based on the bits from an XR3i & it was to be in the colours of Nigel Mansells’ Canon Williams — some considerable time before he was World Champion !!
I trained as an engineer, worked briefly for Fords, & then established my own garage business which I successfully ran for some 20 odd years & sold out to my partner abou 6 years ago. Have had some successes in club motor sport &, more recently a couple of hire Prokart championships.
Took a look at the Kitcar business & couldn’t believe the blinkered mentality of so many companies producing similar Lotus 7 & Cobra clones. Decided it was time I produced something completely different (you have to agree it’s that!!). The result you see here.
